Anita A. Daniels

is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical addictions specialist who provides behavioral health and addictions counseling. She is authorized in North Carolina to complete forensic evaluations, 1st Level Involuntary Commitment Examinations, and DMV Substance Abuse Evaluations.

Ms. Daniels obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from East Carolina University, and a Sports Counseling certificate from the California University of Pennsylvania.  

She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers; a founding member and president of the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports; former President and current member of The Links, Incorporated, Durham (NC) Chapter; Union Baptist Church, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Ms. Daniels also serves as the Assistant Minister of Congregational Care and Counseling (MC3) at Union Baptist Church in Durham. She has contributed to the following spiritual publications: How We Got Over: Testimonies of Faith, Hope, and Courage, Women of Color Devotional Bible, and Wisdom and Grace: Study Bible for Young Women of Color.  

Prior to pursuing private practice fulltime, Ms. Daniels served as Director of Durham Center Access - - the local facility that provides crisis inpatient and outpatient services for behavioral health, alcohol and drug addictions, and intellectual disabilities.

Monday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Friday - Sunday: Closed
